Larry Wayne Darnall

Larry Wayne Darnall, age 58, of Georgetown, Ohio, died Monday, June 5, 2006 at his residence. Mr.Darnall served his country as a well decorated solider completing two tours of duty during the Vietnam War. He earned the rank of sergeant E8 and received the Purple Heart. He was born December 29, 1947 in New Hope, Ohio the son of the late Herschel and Beulah (Tumey) Darnall. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Carrie Ann; one brother, Raymond Darnall; one sister, Jacqueline Jodrey.

Mr.Darnall Is survived by his wife, Doris (Montgomery) Darnall; one son - Chris Darnall of Georgetown, Ohio; one granddaughter Courtney Darnall of Georgetown, Ohio; Two brothers - Harold Darnall of Sardinia, Ohio, Mike Darnall of Ripley, Ohio; five sisters- Bonnie Martin of Sardinia, Ohio, Donna Hollingsworth of Sardinia, Ohio, Jean Newberry of Georgetown, Ohio, Cathy Smith of Falkville, Alabama, Teresa Souder of Russellville, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, June 9, 2006 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Chaplain Bill Graybill will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 - 9 P.M. Thursday. Interment will be in Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio with military services by the Carey-Bavis Post #180 of Georgetown, Ohio.
