Karen R. (Moran) Green

Karen Rae Green, age 75 of Georgetown, Ohio died Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the owner and operator with her husband, Mickey, of the Town and Tavern in Georgetown, Ohio for 25 years, chief bailiff for the Brown County Municipal Court and loved her horses and dogs. Karen was born December 19, 1947 in New Hope, Ohio the daughter of the late Alfred and Pearlie Alice (Crosby) Moran.

Mrs. Green is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert Michael “Mickey” Green whom she married April 20, 1966; one son – Jay Green of Georgetown, Ohio; one grandson – Clayton Green of Georgetown, Ohio; one brother – Dewayne Moran and wife Tina of Georgetown; one sister-in-law – Annette Green and Dave Willis of Georgetown, Ohio and one brother-in-law – Jeff Green of Winchester, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, June 12, 2023 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Tom Patrick will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Private interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
