Julia Catherine Lang

Mrs. Julia Catherine Lang, age 69 of Ripley, Ohio, died Thursday, June 22, 2006 at Brown Co. General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio. She was a retired teacher and a member of The First Baptist Church in Ripley, Ohio. She was born on June 20, 1937 in Brown Co., Ohio the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (Delaney) Cloyd. She was also preceded in death by her husband in 1993, Jesse James Lang; one sister, Mary Ann Cloyd; two brothers, George and Walter Cloyd; one niece, Faith Cloyd.

Mrs. Lang is survived by one daughter, Finish Phipps of Ripley, Ohio; two sons - Ty Lang of Ripley, Ohio and James Lang of Columbus, Ohio; one foster daughter, Latasha Brown Morton; two grandchildren and four foster grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. Willie Howard will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Red Oak Cemetery near Ripley, Ohio.
