Joshua C. Gilbert

Joshua Curtis Gilbert, age 47 of Winchester, Ohio passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025 at his residence. He worked in concrete construction and enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, camping and fishing. Josh was born September 28, 1977 in Georgetown, Ohio the son of Curtis K. Gilbert of Hillsboro, Ohio and Glenna J. (Padgett) Johnson of Felicity, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his grandparents – Eldon Jordan, Sr. and Curt and Dorothy Gilbert and one uncle – Billy Jordan.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Gilbert is survived by his fiancé – Brett Rogers of Winchester, Ohio; one son – William G. Gilbert of Amelia, Ohio; four step-children – Reese and Hadley Allen both of Winchester, Ohio and Dylon Jennings and Donya Rowe both of Maysville, Kentucky; two sisters – Julie Stevens of Mt.Orab, Ohio and Jessica Ackley of Amelia, Ohio; maternal grandmother - Mary A. Jordan of Felicity, Ohio and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, February 9, 2025 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt.Orab, Ohio. Pastor Don White will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
