Joseph Andrew Murrell

Joseph Andrew Murrell, age 6 of Mt. Orab, Ohio passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at the Cincinnati Children’s Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was loved by everyone who knew him and loved pulling his sister’s hair and his elephant, Ellie. Joseph was born November 10, 2017 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of Joseph G. Murrell and Hope Bowman of Mt.Orab, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents – Willie “Gene” and Louise R. (Evans) Murrell; one uncle – Phillip Murrell and one cousin – Andrew Joseph Strong.

In addition to his parents, Joseph is survived by four brothers and sisters –  Carly, Zach, Faith and Wyatt Murrell all of Mt.Orab, Ohio; maternal grandparents – Thomas and Linda (Bowman) Brokaw of Florida; eleven aunts and uncles – Pamela Murrell of Cincinnati, Ohio, Stanley Murrell and wife Vicky of Williamsburg, Ohio, Dennis Murrell and wife Helen of Mt.Orab, Ohio, Theresa Murrell of Lexington, Kentucky, John Murrell and wife Rita of Muncie, Indiana, Cathy Burton and husband Doug of Mt. Orab, Ohio, Paul Murrell of Mt.Orab, Ohio, Elaine Strong and husband Tim of Mt.Orab, Ohio, Chris Bowman and wife Robin of Owensville, Ohio, Anna Bowman of Milford, Ohio and Tommy Bowman and wife Taylor of Lebanon, Ohio; numerous cousins and his four legged friend - Roxie.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, January 4, 2024 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt.Orab, Ohio. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Private interment will be held Friday, January 5, 2024 at the convenience of the family.
