Joseph William Berlinger

Joseph William Berlinger, age 91, of Georgetown, Ohio died Thursday, April 27, 2006 at the Villa Georgetown Nursing Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Mr. Berlinger was a farmer and a member of the Georgetown United Methodist Church. Mr. Berlinger was born on May 7, 1914 in Ripley, Ohio the son of the late Joe and Bessie (Boggs) Berlinger. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Hilda (Carpenter) Berlinger, to whom he was married 68 years, one brother, Robert Berlinger and three sisters - Mildred Heggefield, Mary Perkins and Nellie White.
Mr. Berlinger is survived by one son - Michael Carpenter and wife, Sherri of Georgetown, Ohio; two grandchildren - Joey and Jake Carpenter and one sister - Rosalee Dayton of Florida.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 30, 2006 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Pete Warren will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 - 2 P.M. Sunday. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Georgetown United Methodist Church, 217 S. Main St., Georgetown, Ohio 45121.
