John Francis Stuhlreyer, age 79 of Georgetown, Ohio died Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Anderson Mercy Hospital in Anderson Township, Ohio. He worked in sales, was a United States Vietnam War Army veteran, a member of the St. Michael Catholic Church in Ripley, Ohio and the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180. John was born March 14, 1941 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of the late Anthony and Virginia (Blasing) Stuhlreyer. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister – Mary Riordan.
Mr. Stuhlreyer is survived by his wife of 28 years, Dolores (Reid) Stuhlreyer; one son – Don Stuhlreyer and wife Vicki of West Chester, Ohio; one daughter – Ginny Warner and husband Tom of Cincinnati, Ohio; one stepson – Tim Applegate of Georgetown, Ohio; two grandchildren – Brad Stuhlreyer and Dr. Madison Taylor and husband Ethan; one brother – Tony Stuhlreyer of Cincinnati, Ohio; three sisters – Monica Stuhlreyer of Monroe, Michigan, Susan Riley of Charlotte, North Carolina and Betsy Wehby of Cincinnati, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 2, 2020 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Ripley, Ohio. There will be no visitation. Facial masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be observed. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
