Jo Ann (Pope) Watson

Jo Ann Watson, age 92 of Hamersville, Ohio passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at the Hospice of Hope Inpatient Care Center at Adams County Regional Medical Center. She was a homemaker, loved to go shopping and enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels. Jo Ann was born July 4, 1932 in Dallas County, Texas the daughter of the late Manning H. Pope, Sr. and Bessie Lee (Barnes) Pope. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband – Delmer L. Watson in 2010, one daughter – Michele Watson in 2019, father and mother-in-law – Elmer and Ethel (Rishforth), two brothers – Manning H. Pope, Jr. and wife Florence and Donald C. Pope and wife Carol and her cat - Murphy.
Mrs. Watson is survived by one daughter – Brenda Ernst and husband Steve of Hamersville, Ohio; one grandson – Matt Ernst and wife Shelly of Hamersville, Ohio and one great grandson – Christopher Ernst of Withamsville, Ohio.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
