Jewel Elizabeth Pharris

Miss Jewel Pharris, age 74, of Georgetown, Ohio formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio died Thursday, October 7, 2004 at the Hospice of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio. Miss Pharris was a dietician at St. Luke Hospital and was a member of the Delaney Chapel A.M.E. Church in Georgetown, Ohio. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 28, 1930 the son of the late John David and Mary Alice (Farley) Pharris. She was also preceded in death by three brothers - Wilbur, Oscar and George Pharris and one sister, Lula Mae London.

Miss Pharris is survived by one son, Brian Pharris and wife, Lori of Cincinnati, Ohio; two grandchildren; two sisters - Gladys Grant of Georgetown, Ohio and Charlotte Juanita Hinton of Falmouth, Kentucky and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 11, 2004 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Victor Davis will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 - 2 P.M. Monday afternoon. Interment will be in Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
