Jane A. Shelton

Mrs. Jane Allen Shelton, age 60 of Aberdeen, Ohio, died Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio. She was a homemaker and a member of The Ripley Church of the Nazarene. She was born on April 11, 1944 in Dover, Kentucky the daughter of the late Alphus and Ethel Louise (Vaughn) Curtis. She was also preceded in death by one grandson, Terry L. Phillips, Jr.; one sister, Bobbie Mae Burr; two brothers, June Edward and George Ruben Curtis.

Mrs. Shelton is survived by her husband of forty-one years, Kenneth E. Shelton; one daughter, Connie Phillips of Aberdeen, Ohio; three sons - David S. Shelton of Maysville, KY.; Mark Anthony Shelton of Aberdeen, Ohio, and Kenneth Allen Shelton of Maysville, KY.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Elizabeth Porter of Milford, Ohio; two brothers - Ivan Striblen of Moab, Utah and Bill Striblen of Martinsville, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 12, 2005 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. Clark Castle will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Charter Oak Cemetery in Aberdeen, Ohio.
