James (Jimmie) Thomas Stewart

James T. Stewart, Sr., age 95 of Georgetown, Ohio died Friday, April 14, 2006 at the Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio. Mr. Stewart was a retired employee of the Georgetown Exempted Village School, a self employed carpenter and a member of the Georgetown Church of the Nazarene. He was born on October 6, 1910 in Bath County, Kentucky the son of the late Mark and Ursa (Gray) Stewart. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Minnie (Lykes) Stewart, two brothers, Holman and Herbert Stewart, one sister, Ruth (Stewart) Lykes and one daughter-in-law, Lena Mae (Ernst) Stewart.

Mr. Stewart is survived by one son - J.T. Stewart of Georgetown, Ohio; five grandchildren - Ted L. Stewart of Williamsburg, Ohio, Terry L. Stewart of Cincinnati, Ohio, Nancy E. Stewart-Cahall of Amherst, Massachusetts, James A. Stewart of Milford, Ohio and Jennifer A. Stewart-Hamblen of Georgetown, Ohio; ten great grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; three step great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at the Georgetown Church of the Nazarene, 4884 State Route 125, Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Steve Gunno will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 - 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the church. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Georgetown Church of the Nazarene. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
