James Elton Slack

James Elton Slack, age 68, of Bethel, Ohio died Monday, August 15, 2005 at the Vista Care Hospice in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. Slack was retired from the Ford Motor Co. He was born in Georgetown, Ohio on November 26, 1936 the son of the late James William and Emma Louise (Hauck) Slack. He was also preceded in death by one son, Omar Timothy Slack and one son-in-law, Robert Earl May.

Mr. Slack is survived by his wife, Norma Jean (King) Slack, four daughters - Linda May of Williamsburg, Ohio, Roseitta Faye Stephany and husband, Bill of Bethel, Ohio, Katherine Irene Watson and husband Timothy of Georgetown, Ohio and Peggy Sue Turner and husband Jeffrey of Williamsburg, Ohio; two sons - John Elton Slack and wife Patricia of Williamsburg, Ohio and James Matthew Slack and wife Sherry of Bethel, Ohio; 11 grandchildren - Wayne Allen Tarvin, Brian Adams Tarvin, Josiah Ernst Watson, Bobby Lynn May, Billie Jean May, Jeffrey Earl Turner, Timothy Daniel Turner, Hannah Nicole Slack, Madalyn Faith Slack, John Elton Slack and Amber Jo Burkhart; four great grandchildren; four brothers - Gilbert and John Slack both of Florida and Terry and Tommy Slack both of Peebles, Ohio; and one sister - Bonnie Allen of New Hope, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 19, 2005 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio with Rev. Charles Smith officiating.  Visitation will be from 6 - 8 P.M. Thursday evening. Interment will be in Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
