James Richard Mckinzie

James Richard McKinzie, age 74, of Georgetown, Ohio died Thursday, January 6, 2005 at the Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio. Mr. McKinzie was retired from Jefferson Smurfit Stone after forty-two years of service, a Korean War Army veteran and was a member of the Cpl. Herman Houghton V.F.W. Post 7496 in Felicity, Ohio. He was born in Williamsburg, Ohio on September 4, 1930 the son of the late Charles Edward and Josephine (Piatt) McKinzie. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Donald McKenzie and one sister, Alberta Newberry.

Mr. McKinzie is survived by his wife of fifty years - Delores (Schwartz) McKinzie; three sons - Michael and Patrick McKinzie both of Georgetown, Ohio and Matthew McKinzie of Wilder, Kentucky; one daughter - Rebecca McKinzie of Minnesota; twelve grandchildren; six great grandchildren and one sister - Judy Cox of Mt. Orab, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 10, 2005 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Sam McKinzie will officiate. Visitation will be from 2 - 5 P.M. Sunday afternoon at the funeral home. Interment will be in Farmers Chapel Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
