James E. Jewell

James Edward Jewell, age 80, of Hamersville, Ohio died Sunday, May 22, 2005 at the Ohio Veterans Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Mr. Jewell was born in Richmond, Virginia on July 31, 1924 the son of the late George and Myrtle Lee (Young) Jewell. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean (Hamilton) Jewell, one brother, Sam Jewell and two sisters - Gertie Frye and Ida May Bach.

Mr. Jewell is survived by his son - Robert Jewell of Hamersville, Ohio; one grandson - Tony Jewell of Hamersville, Ohio; one sister - June Cowgel of Cincinnati, Ohio; two nephews - Charles "Butch" Jewell and wife, Clara of Sardinia, Ohio and Harvey Jewell and wife, Donna of Hamersville, Ohio and one niece, Jeannie (Jewell) Brown of Lake Waynoka, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, May 26, 2005 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Buford Cemetery in Buford, Ohio.
