James Daugherty

James Jeffrey Daugherty, age 61 of Sardinia, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at his residence. He was a self-employed landscaper and general contractor. James was born April 16, 1963 in Painesville, Ohio the son of the late James and Phyllis (Fields) Daugherty.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister – Cindy Daugherty.

Jeffrey is survived by his wife – Wilma Jean (Jordan) Daugherty; six children – Sherri Daugherty of Dayton, Ohio, James Daugherty and Jeffrey Daugherty both of Sardinia, Ohio, Amanda Daugherty, Mersaddie Merritt and Robin Merrit all of Mt. Orab, Ohio; two brothers – Ritchie Daugherty of Sardinia, Ohio and Walter Jones of Mt. Orab, Ohio; nine grandchildren – Walter Jones, Marlene Daugherty, Serenity Daugherty, Joshua James Whitt, Savannah Jones, Summer Jones, Sierra Jones, Heaven Jones and Hailey Jones and two great-grandchildren – Ezra Lopez Reyes and Randall Junior Henges.

There will be no services. The Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio is serving the family.
