James Henry Daniels, Sr

Mr. James Henry Daniels, Sr., age 94 of Ripley, Ohio, died Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at Brown Co. General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio. He was a farmer for most of his life and also worked in maintenance and as a painter for the Forrest Hills School District in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born on August 4, 1912 in Dover, KY. the son of the late Willard Frank and Lona Frances (Clark) Daniels. He was preceded in death by his wife Leona (Thornton) Daniels; three sisters- Gladys Yates, Ardelia Smith and Arzelia Smith; one brother, Clarence Daniels.

Mr. Daniels is survived by two daughters - Lillian Germann of Ripley, Ohio and Juanita Herrmann of Cincinnati, Ohio; one son, James I. Daniels, Jr. of Monroe, Ohio; two sons in law - David Herrmann and Bud Adams; one daughter in law, Betty Truitt Daniels; two grandchildren, Ruth Ann Germann Galbraith and David Herrmann, Jr.; two great grandchildren - Kenny Ray Galbraith and Angeline Galbraith; one great great grandson, Isaac Galbraith; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 6, 2006 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. Friday. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio.
