Iris Lucile (Davis) Hayward

Iris Lucile Hayward, age 84, was born September 25, 1937 in Joplin, Missouri to the union of Ira R. and Lucile (Donaldson) Davis. She departed this life on February 2, 2022 at the University of Cincinnati Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a committed follower of Jesus Christ, a homemaker and member of the Georgetown Church of Christ where her daughter, Sharon Hennig and husband, Scott have served since 1985. She was a volunteer at the Brown County Senior Citizen Center and the PLACE OF HOPE Pregnancy Resource Center. Iris was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Clarence Marion Hayward in 2009.

Mrs. Hayward is survived by two sons - Steve Hayward and wife Rhonda of Joplin, Missouri and Doug Hayward and wife Susan of Springfield, Missouri; two daughters - Sharon Hennig and husband Scott of Georgetown, Ohio and Patty Moeller and husband Tim of Gerald, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and a host of friends.

A reception will be held in her honor Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall of the Georgetown Church of Christ, 149 Hamer Road, Georgetown, Ohio 45121. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, February 11, 2022 at the Eugene Christian Church in Eugene, Missouri with burial in the Eugene Cemetery.
