Howard “Howie” Quentin Cook, age 46 of Georgetown, Ohio died Friday, April 28, 2023 at his residence. He was a machinist for RR Tool in Blanchester, Ohio, a member of the Waters of Mercy Church of God in Milford, Ohio and the Church of Jesus Christ and Apostles Doctrine in Georgetown, Ohio and a gifted musician who loved to play the guitar, banjo, mandolin and the fiddle as well as many other instruments. Howie was born October 22, 1976 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of Donita (VanWinkle) Cook of Georgetown, Ohio and the late Harold Cook, Sr. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by one brother – Rodney Cook, one sister – Jessica Farris, step-father – Jack Henry, grandparents – Robert and Margaret VanWinkle and Harold and Pearlie Cook, six uncles – Robert Earl and John David VanWinkle and Clyde, Gene, Estel and Garland Cook and five aunts – Rita Booth, Aleta Thomas, Yvonne Schneider, Bonita VanWinkle and Mary Reid.

In addition to his loving mother, Mr. Cook is survived by one brother – Harold Cook and wife Debbie of East Bend, North Carolina; ten nieces and nephews – Cory, Chase and Somer Cook, Hailey Spann, Katie and Joshua Bauhofer, Erika and Garry Cornett, Bradley Poe and Michael West; numerous great nieces and nephews; two uncles – Roy Alan VanWinkle and wife Deanna of Fayetteville, Ohio and Glen Cook and wife Amparo of Chicago, Illinois; one aunt – Angela Iles and husband Leroy of Fayetteville, Ohio and many cousins, friends and his RR Tool family.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 P.M. Sunday, May 7, 2023 at the Church of Jesus Christ and Apostles Doctrine, 402 North Main Street, Georgetown, Ohio 45121. Pastor Vince Wright and Rev. Dan Reed will officiate. Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M. Sunday at the church. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
