Hiram J. Finley

Hiram J. Finley, age 80 of Georgetown, Ohio died Monday, January 16, 2006 at The Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center near Ripley, Ohio. He was a United States Army WWII Veteran where he served in the 82nd Airborne. He was also a member of The Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180 in Georgetown, Ohio and was a retired truck driver. Mr. Finley was born on May 4, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan the son of the late James and Rachel (Meadows) Finley. He was also preceded in death by his wife Gwendolyn A. (Hamblin) Finley.
Mr. Finley is survived by three sons - James M. Finley of Georgetown, Ohio, Herbert H. Finley of Ripley, Ohio and Teddy Lee Maupin of Loveland, Ohio; one daughter Vivian Cantone of Florida; ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; two sisters; one brother and his dog "Tiny".
Funeral services will be held 12:00 P.M. Friday, January 20, 2006 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. Thursday evening at the funeral home. Interment will be in Graceland Memorial Gardens in Milford, Ohio.
