Helen D. Lindsey

Helen Dora Lindsey, age 86 of Hamersville, Ohio died Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at the Anderson Mercy Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mrs. Lindsey was a homemaker and a member of the Bible Chapel United Church of Christ in Hamersville, Ohio. She was born in Clermont County, Ohio on March 13, 1919 the daughter of the late Harry and Viola (Rich) Stiers. She was also preceded in death by her husband of over 65 years, Gerald Lindsey, one brother, Harold Stiers and two sisters - Ruth Tatman and Mid Figgins.

Mrs. Lindsey is survived by two daughters - Patricia Cornett and husband Kirby and Beverly Cropper and husband Sam all of Hamersville, Ohio; one son - Larry Lindsey and wife Mary of Hamersville, Ohio; six grandchildren - Kristi Carter, Melissa Dotson, Jared Cornett, Alicia Shope, Jill Brickner and Stephanie Dyer; thirteen great grandchildren and one sister-in-law - Marilyn Nesbitt of Lebanon, Indiana.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Mike Starkey will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 - 9 P.M. Tuesday. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
