Gladys B. Winters

Gladys Winters, age 107, of Georgetown, Ohio died Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at the Meadowwood Care Center in Georgetown, Ohio. Mrs. Winters was a homemaker and a 1914 graduate of Higginsport High School. She was born in Higginsport, Ohio on September 28, 1897 the daughter of the late Orlando and Harriet (Mefford) Bartlow. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph H. Winters; one daughter, Katherine Jo Seidel and one son-in-law, Russell Seidel.

Mrs. Winters is survived by one granddaughter, Marilyn Bowen of Georgetown, Ohio; one great granddaughter, Rachel Mayes of Georgetown, Ohio; two great great grandchildren - Clarissa and Devin Mayes; three step great grandchildren - Shanna Cowdrey and family, Curtis Bowen and family and Gene Bowen and family; and a host of neighbors and friends.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, July 18, 2005 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 12:30 - 2:00 P.M. Monday. Interment will be in Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Meadowwood Care Center Activities Fund, Stephens Ave., Georgetown, Ohio 45121.
