Gip P. Clifton, Jr.

Gip Prather Clifton, Jr., age 73 of Moscow, Ohio died Friday November 4, 2022 at his residence. He was a retired machinist for Swans. Gip was born October 4, 1949 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of the late Gip Prather Clifton, Sr. and Dorothy Lillian (Snider) Clifton.

Mr. Clifton is survived by his wife of 30 years – Martha Joyce (Ritchie) Clifton whom he married August 24, 1992; two children – Candy Bronson and husband Gary of Williamsburg, Ohio and Gip P. Clifton, III of Taylor Mill, Kentucky; three step-daughters – Teresa Pierson of Hamersville, Ohio, Tabitha Poe and husband Michael of Bethel, Ohio and Margaret Pierson of Moscow, Ohio; thirteen grandchildren – Emily, Cody, Alicia, Marissa, Jeff, Zoey, Mia, Colton, Brianna, Nicole, Kaitlynn, Austin and Cody; numerous great grandchildren; one brother – Michael Clifton of Amelia, Ohio; two sisters – Lillie Clifton of Felicity, Ohio and Judy Adams of New Richmond, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.

The family will be having a Celebration of Life Service at 12:00 P.M. Friday, November 11, 2022 at the New Richmond Church of the Nazarene, 200 Hamilton Street, New Richmond, Ohio 45157.
