Gertrude Evelyn Boone

Mrs. Gertrude Evelyn Boone, age 92 of Georgetown, Ohio died Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at the Villa Georgetown in Georgetown, Ohio. She was a homemaker, a member of the Georgetown Church of the Nazarene and attended the Apple Street Christian Church in Georgetown, Ohio. She was born on September 14, 1913 in Brown County, Ohio the daughter of the late Albert Edward and Emma Evelyn (Cox) Newberry. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Boone, one daughter, Norma Reynolds and five brothers, Marvin, George, Raymond, Earl and Homer Newberry.

Mrs. Boone is survived by three sons - Ralph E. Boone,Jr. and wife Ramona of Mt. Orab, Ohio, Harold Boone and wife Janet of Hamersville, Ohio and Terry Boone and wife Lorna of Browersville, Minnesota; two daughters - Carol Elliott and husband Buddy and Mary Eary and husband John all of Russellville, Ohio; a son-in-law- Andy Reynolds of Georgetown, Ohio; twenty-five grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren three sisters - Mildred Mallott of Fincastle, Ohio, Ethel Roehm and Ruth Liming both of Georgetown, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. Saturday, October 15, 2005 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Jesse McKinzie will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Linwood Cemetery in Russellville, Ohio.
