George W. Bradford

George W. Bradford, age 87, of Georgetown, Ohio died Saturday, October 8, 2005 at the Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio. Mr. Bradford was self employed, was a World War II Army veteran, a member of the Carey-Bavis American Legion Post #180 in Georgetown, Ohio and the V.F.W. Post #9772 in Mt. Orab, Ohio. He was born in Georgetown, Ohio on July 17, 1918 the son of the late Garfield and Carey (Wahl) Bradford. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Bersa (Elliott) Bradford, one son, Fredrick Bradford and one brother, Delbert Bradford.
Mr. Bradford is survived by his wife, Edna (Hill) Bradford; three sons - George Edward Bradford of Georgetown, Ohio, Gary Allen Barger of Buford, Ohio and Michael Douglas Barger of Fincastle, Ohio; one daughter - Jewell (Barger) Johnson of Georgetown, Ohio; two stepsons - Henry Arthur Barger of Cherry Fork, Ohio and Daryl Noble of Yorktown, Indiana; 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 13, 2005 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Charlie Moore will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 P.M. Wednesday evening. Interment will be in Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
