Gary E. Marker

Gary Emmerson Marker, age 68 of Sardinia, Ohio died Tuesday, May 18, 2023 at the Hospice of Hope Care Center at Adams County Regional Medical Center in Seaman, Ohio. He was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Arnheim, Ohio, loved wildlife and watching sports, especially, basketball. Gary was born September 24, 1954 in Blanchester, Ohio the son of the late Woodrow and Julia (Griffin) Marker. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother – Everett Marker and one niece – Debbie Hartings.

Mr. Marker is survived by one sister – Barbara Mason of Sardinia, Ohio; three nephews – Brian Steed and wife Cathy of Columbus, Ohio, Ben Steed and wife Lynne of Columbus, Ohio and Darin Steed and wife Sherri of Williamsburg, Ohio; one great nieces – Bailey Steed; two great nephews – Alex and Nick Hartings; two aunts – Linda Kessler of Kentucky and Lena Griffin of Dayton, Ohio and numerous cousins.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at the Peace Lutheran Cemetery in Arnheim, Ohio. Pastor Laura Shreffler will officiate. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
