Frances "Frankie" Y. (Nunn) Barnes

Frances Yvonne “Frankie” Barnes, age 81 of Cincinnati, Ohio died Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at the Ashford of Mt. Washington in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a homemaker, a member of the Red Hats and the Clermont Senior Center and loved traveling, going to the casino and playing cards. Frankie was born December 1, 1941 in Somerset, Kentucky the daughter of the late William Bailey and Mary Audrey (Duncan) Nunn. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband – Donald Lee Barnes in 2002, one grandson – Jeremy Barnes, one granddaughter – Annge Berry and six sisters – Billie, Bobbie, Patricia, Nanny, Pauline and Joyce

Mrs. Barnes is survived by three children – GeAnn Berry and husband Phil of Cincinnati, Ohio, Keith Barnes and wife Julie of Mt.Orab, Ohio and Thomas Barnes and wife Christina of Amelia, Ohio; seven grandchildren – Zach Berry of Amelia, Ohio, Jake Berry and wife Taryn of Cincinnati, Ohio, Luke Berry and wife Tiffany of Newtown, Ohio, Robert Barnes and wife Rebecca of Divide, Colorado, Joshua Barnes and wife Kristina of Amelia, Ohio, Donald Barnes and wife Cecelia of Peebles, Ohio and Kristin Jackson and husband Tory of Mason, Ohio; one granddaughter-in-law – Amanda Barnes of Manchester, Ohio; twenty-three great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one brother – William “Butch” Nunn and wife Rose of Louisville, Kentucky; two sisters – Ceal Niefield of Cincinnati, Ohio and Darlene Johnston of Cincinnati, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 7, 2023 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt.Orab, Ohio. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. – 1:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
