Evelyn G. Jenkins

Evelyn G. Jenkins, age 79 of Ripley, Ohio died Saturday, November 2005 at her residence. She was a business woman and was the former owner of Boone's Tavern in Ripley. Mrs. Jenkins was born on December 1, 1925 in Brown County, Ohio the daughter of the late Knowlson Gwynne and Ethel Livia (Tomlin) Grierson. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Lemuel Boone, one step daughter, Madeline Boone, three sisters, Midge Grimes, Margie Speidel, Daisy Dale and four brothers, Gwynn, Bill, Robert and Normy Grierson.
Mrs. Jenkins is survived by her husband - Val Jenkins; two daughters - Teresa Pyle of Vandalia, Ohio and Teresa Ford of Cosby, Tennessee; four grandchildren - Brandon, Baily, Bevan and Bethany Pyle; two great grandsons - Deaglen and Cathan Pyle and one brother - Ronald Grierson of Centerville, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, November 10, 2005 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. David Wirth will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 P.M. Wednesday. Interment will be in the Charter Oak Cemetery in Aberdeen, Ohio.
