Eva Sroufe

Mrs. Eva Francis Sroufe, age 92 of Ripley, Ohio, died Sunday, July 30, 2006 at The Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville, KY.. She was a homemaker and a member of The Bebee Chapel in Ripley, Ohio. She was born on September 26, 1913 in Ripley, Ohio the daughter of the late Cassius and Mary (Culbreath) Clay. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alfonso Sroufe and one daughter, Rose Jones.

Mrs. Sroufe is survived by four sons - Donald Sroufe of Ripley, Ohio, Lloyd Sroufe of Dayton, Ohio, Leslie Sroufe of Dayton, Ohio and Michael Sroufe of Ripley, Ohio; two daughters - Loutricia Johnson of Dayton, Ohio and Betty Barber of Louisville, KY.; twenty grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 3, 2006 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. James Settles will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to: The Bebee Chapel, Main Street, Ripley, Ohio 45167.
