Erma Kay Russell, age 78 of Ripley, Ohio, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021 at her home. She was born July 3, 1943 in Georgetown, Ohio the daughter of the late John Blake and Bessie Rebecca (Adams) Hedges. She was also preceded in death by her husband – Lawrence J. “Rusty” Russell; one brother – Kim Hedges and one nephew – Eric Hedges.
Mrs. Russell is survived by one daughter – Rebecca “Becky” Russell-Gilliam of Ripley, Ohio; one son John Lawrence Russell (Kathy) of Niceville, Florida; three grandchildren – Nicholas Chase Russell of Niceville, Florida, Cassey Marie Lee (Matthew) of Vanceburg, Kentucky, Cody Blake Gilliam (Fiancé Tiffany); five great-grandchildren – Ethan Blake Swearingen-Lee, Nolan Ryan Lee, Samuel Blake Gilliam, Jameson Carter Gilliam and Lucas Ryan Johnson; one brother Terry Hedges of Ripley, Ohio.
Following cremation, there will be no services.
