Elbert Oaks

Elbert Oaks, age 79 of Georgetown, Ohio died Saturday, June 16, 2007 at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. Oaks was a retired steel worker and a Korean War Army veteran. He was born on May 2, 1928 in Jackson, Kentucky the son of the late Frank and Eliza (Collins) Oaks. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Joyce (Terry) Oaks, one brother, Elmer Oaks and one sister, Pauline Oaks.
Mr. Oaks is survived by one daughter - JoAnn Raleigh of Georgetown, Ohio; two granddaughters - Amanda and Stacey Naegel; one great granddaughter - Brianna Naegel; two brothers - Harlan Oaks of Barboursville, Kentucky and Harold Oaks of Amelia, Ohio and two sisters - Mary Rizzo of Amelia, Ohio and Frances Brown of Hamersville, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Brother Phil Russell will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Wednesday. Interment will be in the Tate Township Cemetery in Bethel, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
