Edgar Hugh Wylie

Edgar Hugh Wylie, age 78 of Georgetown, Ohio died Monday, July 23, 2007 at his residence. Mr. Wylie was a bulldozer operator, a member of the Georgetown Church of Christ, a lifetime member of the Ohio Valley Antique Machinery Association, the Jet Stream Generals Model Airplane Flying Club, the Knights of Pythias Lodge and he served in the Navy and Air Force during World War II. He was born on September 22, 1928 in Moscow, Ohio the son of the late Floyd Leo and Grace (Case) Wylie.

Mr. Wylie is survived by his wife of 59 years, Edna (Sponcil) Wylie, six children - Carolyn Corbin and husband Alan of Georgetown, Ohio; Gary Wylie and wife Toni of Bethel, Ohio; Kenny Wylie and wife Becky of Williamsburg, Ohio; David Wylie and wife Sally of New Richmond, Ohio; Barb Bruan and husband Ronnie of Hamersville, Ohio and Daniel and wife Linda of Cincinnati, Ohio; twelve grandchildren - Kristal Partin, Tiffany Perkins, Zac Corbin, Erin Wylie, Autumn Mosbough, Adam Wylie, Natalie Lovitt, Nichole Grigsby, Josh Wylie, Jonathon Wylie, Kyle Bruan and Liz Wylie; nine great grandchildren; one brother - Paul Wylie and wife Esby of Ft. Myers, Florida; one sister - Evelyn Boyer of Napa Valley, California and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, July 29, 2007 at the Georgetown Church of Christ, 149 Hamer Road, Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 9:00 P.M. Saturday at the church. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery with veteran services by the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180. If desired, memorials may be made to the Georgetown Church of Christ, 149 Hamer Road, Georgetown, Ohio 45121 or to the Crossroads Hospice, 4360 Glendale-Milford Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45242.
