Douglas Byar, age 49 of Aberdeen, Ohio, died Tuesday, September 12, 2006 in Yankeetown, Ohio. He was a retired truck driver. He was born on January 31, 1957 in Maysville, KY. the son of the late Eugene Eagen and Opal (Mason) Byar. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Daniel Chester Parker.
Mr. Byar is survived by one son, Daniel Keith Byar of Reading, Ohio; one daughter Amber Danielle Byar of Ripley, Ohio; two sisters - Charlotte Whalen and husband John of West Union, Ohio and Paula Mason and husband Roger of Aberdeen, Ohio; one brother, Kelly Byar and wife Sandy of Reading, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 15, 2006 at Cahall funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Bryan W. McRoberts will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Charter Oak Cemetery in Aberdeen, Ohio.
