Dorothy Jean Lovett

Dorothy Jean Lovett, age 90 of Hamersville, Ohio died Saturday, October 29, 2022 at the Anderson Mercy Hospital in Anderson Township, Ohio.  She was a homemaker, member of the St. George Catholic Church in Georgetown, Ohio and an avid gardener. Dorothy was born August 17, 1932 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of the late Clifford and Margaret (Niederlander) Wolf. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband – John Robert Lovett in 2009; two sons – John Robert “Rob” Lovett in 2021 and Christopher Lovett in 2017; one granddaughter – Rachael Lovett and four brothers and sisters – Margie Smith (Cecil), Marilyn Henderson, Clifford “Tom” Wolf (Janine) and Jack Wolf (Cindy).

Mrs. Lovett is survived by three children – Margie McElroy and husband Sam of Georgetown, Ohio, Rich Lovett and Ted Lovett and wife Katie both of Hamersville, Ohio; one daughter-in-law – Vicki Lovett of Hamersville, Ohio; thirteen grandchildren – Andrew Zistler and wife Bridget of Columbus, Ohio, Judah McElroy of Georgetown, Ohio, Brandon Johnson and wife Brittany of Georgetown, Ohio, Rich Lovett, Jr. and fiancé Ashely Hackworth of Georgetown, Ohio, John Lovett and wife Allison of Milford, Ohio, Olivia, Benedict, Theo and Grace Lovett all of Hamersville, Ohio, Chelsea Pittman and husband Frank of Williamsburg, Ohio, C.J. Lovett of Ripley, Ohio, Sara Lovett of Indiana and Dillon Mussinan and wife Danielle of Long Island, New York; ten great grandchildren – Autumn Boone, Bradley Stamper, Aaliyah and McKenzie Stricklett, Richie Lovett, Dottie and Jack Pittman and Sophia, Madeline and Gabriel Mussinan and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be  at 12:00 P.M. on Monday, November 7, 2022 at the St. George Catholic Church, 509 East State Street, Georgetown, Ohio 45121.  Rev. Frank Amberger will be the Celebrant. Visitation will be from 10:30 A.M. – 11:30 A.M. Monday at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Interment will be in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio.
