Dorothy Janice Highlander

Dorothy Janice (Myers) Highlander, age 69 of Georgetown, Ohio died Saturday, May 13, 2006 at the University Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mrs. Highlander was a 1954 graduate of Georgetown High School, a member of the Fairview Church, was employed by Cahall Bros, Inc. and for several years she was a receptionist for the late Dr. George McCarley. Mrs. Highlander was born on September 21, 1936 in Cherry Fork, Ohio the daughter of the late Frank and Geneva (Milligan) Myers. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Nelson Highlander, they were married on June 2, 1956.

Mrs. Highlander is survived by two daughters - Bethany Loudon and husband Doug of Georgetown, Ohio and Loree Highlander of Irving, Texas; two sons - Brent Highlander and wife Sharon of Augusta, Kentucky and Wade Highlander of Georgetown, Ohio; eight grandchildren - Michelle Loudon Insko, Robert Loudon, Zachary, Clinton and Houstin Highlander, Collin McElroy, Bethany Larrison and Alysha Sydnor; five great grandchildren - Kaylee and Tyler Loudon, Isabella Insko and Sebastian and Breken Larrison; three brothers - Robert Myers of Georgetown, Ohio, Dan Myers and wife Ruth Ann of Maderia, Ohio and Earl Myers and wife Barbara of Georgetown, Ohio and one sister-in-law - Virginia Umstattd and husband Wilburn of Maysville, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Avery McCleese will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. Tuesday. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Fairview Church, P.O. Box 146, Georgetown, Ohio 45121.
