Dorothy Lee Gaskin

Dorothy Lee Gaskin, age 77 of Feesburg, Ohio died Friday, March 31, 2006 at her residence. She was a 1946 graduate of Hamersville High School, a member of and organist for the Hamersville Church of Christ, an active member of the Brown County Democrat Club, and was a divorce investigator for the Brown County Common Pleas Court. She was born on July 25, 1928 in Feesburg, Ohio, the daughter of the late Wylie and Verna (Burgett) Trout. She was also preceded in death by her husband of fifty-eight years, Lawrence W. Gaskin.

Mrs. Gaskin is survived by one son - Larry Gaskin and wife Mary of Hamersville, Ohio; two grandchildren - Steve and Megan Gaskin both at home; one brother - Russell Trout and wife Barbara of Florida; three sisters - Betty Beach of Withamsville, Ohio; Helen Wise of Ripley, Ohio and Pat Walters and husband George of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sisters-in-law - June Gaskin Pittenger of Georgetown, Ohio and Eula Mae Gaskin of Bethel, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Thomas Friskney will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. Monday. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to the Hamersville Church of Christ, 203 E. Main Street, Hamersville, Ohio 45130 or the American Heart Association.
