Donald Dewey Puckett

Donald Dewey Puckett, age 64, of Russellville, Ohio died Friday, September 23, 2005 at the Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio. Mr. Puckett was an Air Force veteran and worked in maintenance. He was born in Russellville, Ohio on January 26, 1941 the son of the late David Anderson and Florence (Rishforth) Puckett. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Carolyn (Watson) Puckett and two brothers - Leslie and Floyd Puckett.

Mr. Puckett is survived by his wife, Jean (Dill) Puckett of Russellville, Ohio; two sons - David Puckett and wife, Kathy of Winchester, Ohio and Jeffery Puckett of Sardinia, Ohio; two daughters - Kathryn Meyer and husband James of Sardinia, Ohio and Diana Creamer and husband, Jesse of Decatur, Ohio; nine grandchildren - Nathan and Adam Puckett, Zackary, Nickolas and Kaitlyn Meyer, Erika Puckett, and Jacob, Alexander and Grace Creamer; three brothers - Arthur Puckett of Georgetown, Ohio, Raymond (Pete) Puckett of Mt. Orab, Ohio and Carl (Butch) Puckett of Trinity, Texas; two sisters - Dorothy Derickson of Lynch, Nebraska and Gladys Hall of Bethel, Ohio; three stepdaughters - Beverly Tate and husband, Larry of Dayton, Ohio, Barbara Meeker and husband, Joey of Dayton, Ohio and Betty Wellman and husband, Mike of Wilmington; two stepsons - Richard Slouffman and wife, Sue of Cincinnati, Ohio and Jay Slouffman and wife, Ashley of Cincinnati, Ohio; five step grandchildren - Jessica Tate, Misty Wellman, Blake Slouffman and Lauren and Alicia Slouffman and mother-in-law - Bertha Dill of New Carlisle, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 P.M. Tuesday evening. Interment will be in Linwood Cemetery in Russellville, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Leukemia Society.
