Deborah Ann Woods

Deborah Ann Woods, age 62, of Fayetteville, Ohio passed on to Heaven on March 25, 2023.  She is survived by many loving friends, caring caregivers, and others.

Debbie was born February 13, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois to Willie and Estella Woods.  She had 5 siblings, one being Antoinette, of which Debbie kept many pictures of in her bedroom.

Debbie took residence at REM, Ohio in Fayetteville, Ohio where she lived with her housemate, Tammy Doughman, who loved Debbie more than the world.  Many showered Debbie with pampering and love. She was one you could sit with and be safe, feel comfortable and just fall in love.  Even with being nonverbal, she would sure let you know how she felt.  With her side eyes and heavy sighs, she could be a dramatic one.  Everyone who knew her would laugh, cry, and clap at all the memories they share with her.  Debbie enjoyed country music, playing Connect 4, and during the warmer weather, looking up and soaking in the sun outside.

We will miss “Deb-Deb”, as many friends called her.  She will be gratefully missed and as they say “those who loved us, never truly leave us.

A private Celebration of Life will be held with her abundance of friends and what she knew as family.
