Deborah L. Ashmore Shaw

Deborah L. Ashmore Shaw, age 48 of New Port Richey, Florida and formerly of Hamersville, Ohio died Sunday, April 16, 2006 at the Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida following an auto accident. Mrs. Shaw was a missionary, a member of the Crystal River United Pentecostal Church and a homemaker. She was born on February 27, 1958 in Georgetown, Ohio the daughter of the late Terry F. and Mabel Joanne (Lucas) Downing. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Nicole Eileen Herget.

Mrs. Shaw is survived by her husband - Brian D. Shaw of New Port Richey, Florida; one daughter - Amanda Cochran of Denver, Colorado; two step children - Paula Shaw and Brian David Shaw, jr. both of Tampa, Florida; three sisters - Melissa McGuffey and Tara Downing both of Felicity, Ohio and Melinda Frizzell of Georgetown, Ohio; one brother - Jason Downing of Hamersville, Ohio; an aunt and uncle Bette and John Lucas of Georgetown, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 22, 2006 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. H. Wayne Smoot will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 - 2:00 P.M. Saturday. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
