David P. Ward, Sr.

David Patrick Ward, Sr. age 65 of Georgetown, Ohio died Wednesday, April 5, 2023. He was a machine operator and warehouse supervisor for CORE, Inc. and enjoyed fishing and hunting. David was born April 5, 1958 in Michigan the son of Bill Houston and Margaret (Ward) Houston. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife – Kathleen “Kathy” Sue (Maxwell) Ward in 2022; one grandchildren – Autumn Newberry and seven brothers and sisters.

Mr. Ward is survived by three children – David Ward, Jr. of Georgetown, Ohio, Terry Matthews of Bakersfield, California and Amanda Newberry and husband Jason of Felicity, Ohio; five grandchildren – Summer and Elias Newberry and David, Kaitlin and Joshua Ward; three brothers – Rockey, Eddie and Johnny Ward; two sisters – Mary and Teresa Ward and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Friday, April 21, 2023 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. – 7: 00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
