Daniel C. Kitz

Daniel C. Kitz, age 81, of Georgetown, Ohio died Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at the Southern Ohio Veterans Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Mr. Kitz was retired from the Jefferson-Smurfit Company and was a World War II Army veteran, a member of St. George Catholic Church and the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180. He was born on November 4, 1923 in Erlanger, Kentucky the son of the late Fred Jacob and Frances (Kreeke) Kitz.

Mr. Kitz is survived by his wife - Virginia (Schwallie) Kitz; one son - Dan Kitz of Bowling Green, Ohio; two brothers - Fred Kitz of Lakeland, Florida and Robert Kitz of Hebron, Kentucky and one sister - Freda Ward of Georgetown, Ohio.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 A.M. Thursday, February 10 at the St. George Catholic Church in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 9:00 - 10:30 A.M. Thursday morning at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Interment will be in Confidence Cemetery with veteran services by the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180.
