Daniel Joseph Brown

Daniel Joseph Brown, Sr., age 65 of Higginsport, Ohio, died Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at Brown Co. General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio. He was a carpenter and an avid fisherman. He was born on January 25, 1941 in Brown Co., Ohio the son of the late Everett Raymond and Anna Mae (Daugherty) Brown.
Mr. Brown is survived by his wife of nearly 45 years, Diana (Smith) Brown; one daughter, Debra Jane Love of Ripley, Ohio; four sons - Daniel Joseph Brown, Jr. of Russellville, Ohio, Dennis J. Brown of Batavia, Ohio, Douglas John Brown of Ashland, Ohio and Donald Jeffrey Brown of Batavia, Ohio; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; one brother, David Brown of Hamersville, Ohio; two sisters - Ruth Ann Fritz and Clara Judy Matthey, both of Hamersville, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 12, 2006 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Alex Brown will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 - 2:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
