Clay Baker

Clay Baker, age 56 of Georgetown, Ohio died Monday, November 1, 2004 at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. Baker was a welder and a U.S. Army Viet Nam Veteran. He was born on July 27, 1948 in Berea, Kentucky the son of the late Dallas Louis Baker and Ruby (Thomas) Baker of Hamersville, Ohio. Besides his father, he was also preceded in death by one brother, James Ray Baker.

Mr. Baker is survived by his wife - Ruth (Fancher) Baker; one daughter - Laura Wells and husband David of Mt. Orab, Ohio; two sons - Paul Baker and wife Cathy of Verona, Kentucky and Michael Baker and fiance` Melissa Shannon of Mt. Orab, Ohio; his mother - Ruby Baker of Hamersville, Ohio; seven grandchildren; three brothers - Danny and Vern Baker both of Hamersville, Ohio and Nelson Baker of Georgetown, Ohio, three sisters - Shirley Henson of Tennessee, Joan Robinson of Batavia, Ohio and Irene Cornett of Georgetown, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, November 5, 2004 at the Georgetown Church of Christ in Georgetown, Ohio. Scott Hennig will officiate. Visitation will be held from 6 - 8 P.M. Thursday at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to the Georgetown Church of Christ, 149 Hamer Road, Georgetown, Ohio 45121.
