Charles Earl Kidwell

Charles Earl Kidwell, age 92, of Georgetown, Ohio died Thursday, January 5, 2006 at the Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Kidwell was a farmer, a member of the Georgetown Church of Christ and of the Farm Bureau. He was born on November 19, 1913 in Lewis County, Kentucky the son of the late Ashel Barber and Rosa (Stamm) Kidwell. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Alletah (Conley) Kidwell, one daughter, Ruby Carter, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Mr. Kidwell is survived by three children - Earl Kidwell and wife Betty of Hamersville, Ohio; Linda Cowdrey and husband Bob of Georgetown, Ohio and John Kidwell and wife Sharon of Georgetown, Ohio; one son-in-law, Doug Carter of Georgetown, Ohio; 13 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, two sisters - Lucy Alexander and Thelma Sparks both of Portsmouth, Ohio and four brothers - Raymond Kidwell of Kokomo, Indiana; Harlan Kidwell of Indiana; Mark Kidwell of Vanceburg, Kentucky and Del Kidwell of Hillsboro, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 9, 2006 at the Georgetown Church of Christ in Georgetown, Ohio. Revs. Tom Friskney and Kevin Whitsett will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Sunday evening at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Interment will be in Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Georgetown Church of Christ, 149 Hamer Rd., Georgetown, Ohio 45121.
