Carl Henry Tucker

Carl Henry Tucker, age 78, of Hamersville, Ohio died Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at his residence. Mr. Tucker was a farmer, tool grinder and a member of the Hamersville Church of Christ. He was born in Hamersville, Ohio on December 12, 1927 the son of the late George Henry and Gertrude (Shafer) Tucker. He was also preceded in death by two sisters - Helen Bissantz and Joy Mogavero.
Mr. Tucker is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Purdy) Tucker; one daughter - Joan E. Shipley and husband, Douglas of Columbus, Ohio and one granddaughter - Chelsea Shipley of Columbus, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 4, 2006 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Tom Friskney will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 - 2 P.M. Saturday. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Hamersville Church of Christ, 203 E. Main Street, Hamersville, Ohio 45130 or the Hospice of Hope, 215 Hughes Blvd., Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154.
