Carl V. Bibb

Carl Bibb, age 77, of Hamersville, Ohio died Saturday, March 5, 2005 at the Clermont Mercy Hospital in Batavia, Ohio. Mr. Bibb was a Air Force veteran, worked in maintenance and as a painter for Swifton Commons in Cincinnati, Ohio and was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Higginsport, Ohio. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on December 14, 1927 the son of the late Harry and Agnes Mae (Stump) Bibb. He was also preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey Bibb, four brothers - Donald, Sr., Lloyd, Floyd and William Bibb and one sister, Clara Mae McCreary.

Mr. Bibb is survived by his wife, Ruby (Williams) Bibb of Hamersville; two sons - Jerry Bibb and wife, Debbie and Mark Bibb and wife, Diane, all of Hamersville, Ohio; three daughters - Charlene Pollitt and husband, Garry of Hamersville, Ohio, Vickie Bingham and husband, Gary of Russellville, Ohio and Lisa Mullins and husband, East of Dayton, Ohio; 14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 10, 2005 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Johnny Henson will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. Wednesday evening. Interment will be in Sanders Cemetery near Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
