Callie May Brooks

Callie May Brooks, age 76 of Ripley, Ohio died Monday, August 6, 2007 at the Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio. Mrs. Brooks was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ripley, Ohio. She was born on September 9, 1930 the daughter of the late Booker and Elizabeth (Smith) Richmond. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Brooks, three sisters, Hazel Bolden, Virginia Richmond and Mary Nash and one brother, Booker T. Richmond.
Mrs. Brooks is survived by three children - Eddie Richmond, Calvin Brooks and Candy Brooks all of Ripley, Ohio; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one sister - Anna Flowe of Ripley, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 13, 2007 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. James Settles will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. Monday. Interment will be in the Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Ripley Life Squad, Ripley, Ohio 45167.
