Brian Jeffrey Blackburn

Brian Jeffrey Blackburn, 54 of Ripley, Ohio, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022 at Mercy Hospital West in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a United States Navy Veteran and a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Ripley. He was born January 27, 1968 in Georgetown, Ohio the son of Marianne Trapp Speed of Ripley, Ohio and the late Richard Blackburn. He was also preceded in death by a sister – Laura Moffett and a step-father – John Speed.
In addition to his mother, Marianne Speed, Brian is survived by six siblings – Pat McMahon (Pam) of Batavia, Ohio, Julie Blackburn (Mike) of Ripley, Ohio, Rick Blackburn (Whitney) of Ripley, Ohio, Michael Blackburn of Ripley, Ohio, Chad Blackburn of Ripley, Ohio and Carrie Sprague (Joe) of Cincinnati, Ohio; four step-siblings – Kristi Scheek of Ripley, Ohio, Jenny Krack (Randy) of Dayton, Ohio, Mark Speed (Kandice) of Dayton, Ohio and Kerry Speed (Karen) of Melbourne, Florida; two half-brothers - Dusty Doyle and Jordan Brooks; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Following cremation, Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 A.M. Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Ripley, Ohio. Fr. Frank Amberger will be the Celebrant. Visitation will be Monday, February 7, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Inurnment will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio.
