Brad Joseph Russell

Brad Joseph Tyler Russell, age 19 of Decatur, Ohio died Friday, June 10, 2005 at his residence. He attended Ashland Paul Blazer High School in Ashland, Kentucky for three years where he was a member of the soccer team and was an all area player for three years. He was a member of the Huntington Rowdies traveling soccer team. He graduated from Georgetown High School in Georgetown, Ohio and was a member of the soccer team and America's who's who his senior year . He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Ripley, Ohio and formerly a member of Holy Family Parish in Ashland, Kentucky. Brad was born on January 1, 1986 in Portsmouth, Ohio the son of Marianne Russell-Herr and Dee Wayne Bendinelli.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather - Marianne Russell-Herr and Dr. David Herr of Decatur, Ohio; his father and stepmother - Dee and Christy Bendinelli of Dayton, Ohio; two brothers - Adam and Nicholas Bendinelli of Dayton, Ohio; his maternal grandmother - Peggy (Warren) Jenkins of Wheelersburg, Ohio; his maternal grandfather - Jack (Andie) Russell of Wheelersburg, Ohio; his paternal grandfather - Richard (Norma) Bendinelli of Portsmouth, Ohio and several aunts and uncles.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 16, 2005 at the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Ripley, Ohio. Visitation will be from 9:00 - 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Interment will be in the McKendree Cemetery in Buena Vista, Ohio. Following the services, a reception will be held in the Decatur Community Building in Decatur, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Ashland Paul Blazer High School boys and girls soccer teams, Ashland, Kentucky 41101.
