Mrs. Billie Jean Spiller, age 68 of Ripley, Ohio, died Wednesday, July 24, 2007 at her home. She was a housewife, a stay at home grandmother, a Girl Scout Leader for ten years and past president of the Ripley Women's Club. She was born on June 13, 1939 in Mason Co., Kentucky, the daughter of the late Harry and Grace (Woodward) Young.
Mrs. Spiller is survived by her loving husband of forty eight years, Bill Spiller; one daughter, Lisa Spiller of Ripley, Ohio; two sons - Curt Spiller and Mark Spiller, both of Ripley; one granddaughter, Megan Young Spiller; one daughter-in-law, Kim (Huff) Spiller; five step granddaughters - Samantha Pfeffer, Elizabeth Hutchison, Erin Pfeffer, Hannah Pfeffer and Marlie Pfeffer; three great grandchildren - Dalton and Olivia Hutchison and Isabella Siegel; one aunt, Mary Anita (Young) Trapp of Ripley and one uncle, Charles Young of Port Charlotte, Florida.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 28, 2007 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. James Schmitmeyer will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. Friday, July 27 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio.
