Bill Regenstein

William Wayne Regenstein, 86 of Ripley, Ohio, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center near Ripley.  He was a carpenter and a farmer.  Mr. Regenstein was born March 23, 1938 in Georgetown, Ohio the son of the late Kenneth and Gertrude (Hauke) Regenstein.  He was also preceded in death by his wife Shirley Regenstein; a sister – Carol Fultz and a brother – James Regenstein.

Mr. Regenstein is survived by five children – Wilma Nicely of Georgetown, Ohio, Ann Cumberland (Jim) of Sardinia, Ohio, Jay Regenstein of Ripley, Ohio, Marty Regenstein of Ripley, Ohio and Jan Stacy of Ripley, Ohio; five grandchildren – Amy Young (Jeremy) of Westerville, Ohio, Adam Edgington (Jessica) of New Philadelphia, Ohio, Amanda Stout (Jeremy) of Fort Gratiot, Michigan, Jeremy Nicely (Tia) of Ripley, Ohio and Christina Stacy (Bobby) of Georgetown, Ohio; eight great-grandchildren and one brother – Tom Regenstein (Nila) of Ripley, Ohio.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held  at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio.  Vitas Hospice Chaplain Jim Goettel will officiate.  Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Wednesday.  Inurnment will be in Red Oak Cemetery near Ripley.
